Tampa Bay Rays second baseman Brandon Lowe will bat cleanup on Wednesday against right-hander Gerrit Cole and the New York Yankees.
Lowe will start on second base over Mike Brosseau and handle the cleanup role. He is hitting .193/.294/.378 on the season. Yandy Diaz will bat fifth on Wednesday with Austin Meadows and Manuel Margot hitting second and third, respectively.
