Ramon Laureano (thumb) back Tuesday for Athletics
Oakland Athletics center fielder Ramon Laureano (thumb) is back in the lineup for Tuesday's series opener against right-hander Nathan Eovaldi and the Boston Red Sox.
Laureano was held out Sunday due to a minor thumb issue and the Athletics were off Monday. He will bat third in Tuesday's opener, one spot behind Seth Brown. Mark Canha will be in left field and Brown will be in right. Matt Olson will bat cleanup and Jed Lowrie will hit fifth. Sean Murphy has been moved down to No. 8 in the order. Stephen Piscotty is out of the lineup.
numberFire’s models project Laureano for 9.8 FanDuel points and he has a $3,400 salary on Tuesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, Eovaldi owns the third-lowest walk rate (4.8 percent) out of Tuesday's 30 listed starters.
