Joc Pederson leading off for Cubs Tuesday
Chicago Cubs left fielder Joc Pederson is back in the lineup for Tuesday's interleague game against right-hander Shane Bieber and the Cleveland Indians.
Pederson will return to left field and the leadoff spot after being held out of the previous lineup. He still wound up entering the game in the first inning after Jake Marisnick was injured playing a ball in the outfield. Kris Bryant will cover center field and hit second on Tuesday. Matt Duffy will bat third and Anthony Rizzo will be the Cubs' cleanup man. Willson Contreras, David Bote, and Jason Heyward will bat 5-7. The Cubs placed Marisnick on the 10-day injured list with a hamstring strain.
numberFire’s models project Pederson for 9.5 FanDuel points and he has a $2,700 salary on Tuesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Cubs have the lowest implied total (2.8 runs) in the majors on Tuesday.
