The Chicago Cubs did not list Eric Sogard in their lineup for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Sogard will sit today's game out while Matt Duffy enters the lineup and bats leadoff.
Sogard has made 56 plate appearances so far in 2021, with 8 runs, 5 RBI, 1 stolen base and a .275 batting average.
