The San Francisco Giants did not list Austin Slater as a starter for Sunday's game against the San Diego Padres.
Slater will take a seat Sunday while Steven Duggar plays center field and bats seventh.
Slater is projected to make 266 more plate appearances this season, with 9 home runs, 39 runs, 27 RBI, 11 stolen bases, and a .242 batting average.
