Chicago Cubs infielder David Bote is not in the lineup Sunday in the team's game against the Cincinnati Reds.
Bote is being replaced at third base by Matt Duffy against Reds starter Tyler Mahle.
In 82 plate appearances this season, Bote has a .183 batting average with a .581 OPS, 2 home runs, 6 runs and 11 RBI.
