Kyle Lewis out of Mariners' lineup Thursday afternoon

Seattle Mariners center fielder Kyle Lewis is not in the lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Luis Garcia and the Houston Astros.

What It Means:

It looks like the Mariners are giving Lewis the day off. He has gone 4-for-26 (.154) with two home runs since being activated off the injured list last Tuesday. Mitch Haniger (illness) remains out, so it'll be Sam Haggerty, Taylor Trammell, and Dylan Moore starting across the Mariners' outfield in Thursday's matinee. Moore will bat seventh. Jose Marmolejos will be the cleanup man as Seattle's designated hitter and Ty France will hit third on second base.

Moore is numberFire's third-best point-per-dollar option among hitters on Thursday's slate. He has a $2,100 salary and our models project Moore for 12.1 FanDuel points.
