Yandy Diaz sitting for Rays Thursday afternoon
Tampa Bay Rays infielder Yandy Diaz is not in the lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Chris Bassitt and the Oakland Athletics.
What It Means:
Joey Wendle will replace Diaz on third base and bat fifth. Kevin Kiermaier has been moved up to the leadoff spot and Randy Arozarena is lined up to hit third out of left field.
