Mets' Kevin Pillar in center field Tuesday
New York Mets outfielder Kevin Pillar will start in center field on Tuesday against right-hander Garrett Richards and the Boston Red Sox.
Brandon Nimmo is sidelined with a hip issue so Pillar will make the start in center field with Dominic Smith in left. Pillar will hit ninth. Albert Almora is out of the lineup after starting last game.
numberFire’s models project Pillar for 8.9 FanDuel points versus the Red Sox and he has a salary of $2,000 on Tuesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Mets have the third-highest implied total (4.9 runs) out of the 30 teams playing Tuesday.
