Jonathan Schoop sitting for Tigers Sunday
The Detroit Tigers did not list Jonathan Schoop in their starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Oakland Athletics.
What It Means:
Schoop has started in each of the Tigers' games over the past week, so he'll get a well-earned rest day today. Harold Castro will cover first base and bat sixth.
Hopefully the game off will help Schoop reset at the plate, as he's batting just .163 over 54 plate appearances so far this season, a career-worst rate.
