Tampa Bay Rays infielder Brandon Lowe is not starting in Saturday's lineup against the New York Yankees.
Lowe will head to the bench with Austin Meadows handling designated hitting duties, Manuel Margot in left field, and Brett Phillips in center.
Per Baseball Savant on 30 batted balls this season, Lowe has produced a 6.7% barrel rate and a .206 expected average.
