Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Erik Gonzalez is not starting in Friday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Gonzalez will rest on Friday night after Phillips Evans was named Pittsburgh's starting third baseman.
Per Baseball Savant on 28 batted balls this season, Gonzalez has produced a 10.7% barrel rate and a .276 expected average.
