Nationals' Kyle Schwarber active Monday, making season debut Monday
The Washington Nationals activated outfielder Kyle Schwarber from the 10-day injured list.
Schwarber will make his season debut in left field and hit fifth in Monday's series opener against right-hander John Gant and the St. Louis Cardinals after missing the first few series due to a COVID-19 breakout in the Nationals clubhouse. The Nationals optioned Yadiel Hernandez to their alternate training site in a corresponding roster move.
Schwarber has a FanDuel salary of $2,400 on Monday's slate. The Nationals-Cardinals game will be played at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, which is the fourth-least favorable stadium for hitters on Monday, per numberFire's MLB Heat Map.
