Jorge Polanco taking seat Monday for Twins
Minnesota Twins infielder Jorge Polanco is not in the starting lineup for Monday afternoon's series opener against left-hander Martin Perez and the Boston Red Sox.
Polanco appears to be getting a breather after opening the year with a .125/.186/.175 slash line. Luis Arraez will shift to second base and bat eighth while Willians Astudillo will man the hot corner and hit sixth. The Twins will lead off with Byron Buxton.
numberFire’s models project Arraez for 10.4 FanDuel points versus the Red Sox and he has a salary of $2,900 on Monday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Twins have an implied total of 5.1 runs, the second-biggest out of the 28 teams in action Monday.
