Chicago White Sox third baseman Yoan Moncada will start in Thursday afternoon's series opener against right-hander Brad Keller and the Kansas City Royals.
Moncada will replace Jake Lamb on the hot corner and bat cleanup after sitting out Wednesday. He is 4-for-22 (.182) with 12 strikeouts through six games.
