Charlie Blackmon returning to right field for Rockies Thursday
Colorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon will start in Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Merrill Kelly and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Blackmon will replace Chris Owings in right field and bat cleanup after a day off. He's hitting 2-for-19 (.105) to begin the season. Owings left Wednesday's game versus the Diamondbacks with right leg soreness and can be considered day-to-day for now.
numberFire’s models project Blackmon for 12.1 FanDuel points versus the Diamondbacks and he has a salary of $3,900 on Thursday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rockies have the highest implied total (6.0 runs) out of every team playing Thursday.
