Franchy Cordero out of Red Sox's lineup Wednesday
Boston Red Sox outfielder Franchy Cordero will not start in Wednesday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Ryan Yarbrough and the Tampa Bay Rays.
What It Means:
Kevin Plawecki will enter the lineup at catcher and bat ninth while Christian Vazquez shifts to designated hitter and bats fifth. J.D. Martinez will move to left field in place of Cordero.
