Oakland Athletics outfielder Chad Pinder is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Houston Astros.
Pinder will move to the bench with Ka'ai Tom entering the starting lineup in right field on Friday. Tom will bat eighth versus right-hander Cristian Javier and the Astros.
