Tom Murphy sitting for Seattle Friday night
Seattle Mariners catcher Tom Murphy will not start Friday in the team's game against the San Francisco Giants.
Murphy got the nod in the first game of the season on Thursday, but the M's are making a slight change to their lineup. Luis Torrens will now get the nod behind the plate, and Murphy will be on the bench.
Murphy went hitless in his three plate appearances against Kevin Gausman and the Giants' pen.
