Athletics' Chad Pinder in right field for Opening Day
Oakland Athletics infielder/outfielder Chad Pinder will start in right field and bat eighth on Opening Day against right-hander Zack Greinke and the Houston Astros.
Pinder will make the start in right over Stephen Piscotty but the latter is expected to be the Athletics' primary right fielder this season. Here is Oakland's full Opening Day lineup: Mark Canha LF, Ramon Laureano CF, Matt Olson 1B, Matt Chapman 3B, Mitch Moreland DH, Jed Lowrie 2B, Sean Murphy C, Pinder RF, Elvis Andrus SS. Chris Bassitt will be on the hill for the Athletics.
