Robbie Grossman leading off for Tigers against Indians
Detroit Tigers outfielder Robbie Grossman will start in left field and bat leadoff in Thursday's season opener against right-hander Shane Bieber and the Cleveland Indians.
Grossman signed with the Tigers in the offseason after recording a .826 OPS over 192 plate appearances for the Oakland Athletics last year. From 2017-19, Grossman's high-water mark was .751.
