Tampa Bay's Kevin Kiermaier (hip) expects to make spring training debut on Tuesday
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Kevin Kiermaier (hip) is expected to play in Tuesday's spring training game against the Boston Red Sox.
Kiermaier is expected to make his 2021 spring debut training debut against the Red Sox after missing time with recent hip tightness. Expect the 30-year old to play an everyday role in center field despite regressing to a career-low 0.7 Offensive Wins Above Replacement in 159 total plate appearances last season.
Our models currently project Kiermaier to produce a .231 batting average with 11 home runs, 46 RBI, and 16 stolen bases in 456 total plate appearances.
