Astros reportedly sign pitcher Jake Odorizzi to 2-year deal with player option

According to ESPN, the Houston Astros have reportedly signed pitcher Jake Odorizzi to a two-year contract with a player option.

Odorizzi will join the Astros after a three-year stint with the Twins. In 66 starts and 337.0 innings pitched with Minnesota, the veteran right-hander performed overall above-average metrics including a 3.88 Fielding Independent Pitching and 352 strikeouts.
