Chad Pinder at DH for Athletics against White Sox
Oakland Athletics infielder/outfielder Chad Pinder will start on Tuesday in Game 1 against right-hander Lucas Giolito and the Chicago White Sox.
Pinder will hit eighth and serve as the Athletics' designated hitter. He got a tune-up in on Sunday in the regular-season finale after missing nearly two weeks with a right hamstring strain. Khris Davis will be available off the bench.
