The Tampa Bay Rays did not list Willy Adames as a starter for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Adames will sit Sunday out while Joey Wendle bats leadoff and plays shortstop.
Adames had a solid season, batting .259 over 205 plate appearances while tallying 8 home runs and 2 stolen bases.
