Detroit Tigers infielder Jeimer Candelario (back) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Friday.
Candelario's 2020 season will end after the 26-year old suffered a lower back strain on Thursday.
In 185 at-bats this season, Candelario recorded a .297 average with 7 home runs and 29 RBI.
