Minnesota Twins catcher Mitch Garver is in the starting lineup for Friday's series opener against right-hander Tyler Mahle and the Cincinnati Reds.
Garver will replace Ryan Jeffers at catcher and hit eighth. He owns a .152/.240/.242 slash line with 33 strikeouts across 75 plate appearances.
