George Springer sitting as Astros open series with Mariners
Houston Astros outfielder George Springer is not in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against left-hander Marco Gonzales and the Seattle Mariners.
Springer seems to be getting the night off after homering twice and stealing a base in a 3-2 win on Sunday over the Arizona Diamondbacks. Josh Reddick will replace Springer in right field and bat eighth while Myles Straw will take over as the Astros' leadoff man.
numberFire's models expect Reddick to score 8.8 FanDuel points on Monday with a salary of $2,300. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Astros currently have an implied total of 4.2 runs.
