Erick Mejia is not in the Kansas City Royals' lineup for Monday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Mejia will take a seat Monday while Jorge Soler re-enters the lineup from the injured list and bats cleanup.
Mejia has just 1 hit in 16 plate appearances so far this season, but he has stolen a base.
