Nick Markakis on Braves' bench Monday
Atlanta Braves outfielder Nick Markakis is not in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against left-hander Trevor Rogers and the Miami Marlins.
Tyler Flowers will start at catcher and hit eighth while Travis d'Arnaud plays designated hitter for the Braves. Adam Duvall will shift to right field in place of Markakis.
