Los Angeles Angels outfielder Justin Upton is not in the lineup Saturday in the team's game against the Texas Rangers.
Upton is being replaced in left field by Taylor Ward against Rangers starter Lance Lynn.
In 142 plate appearances this season, Upton has a .206 batting average and a .693 OPS.
