San Diego Padres outfielder Jorge Ona has been scratched from Friday's game against the Seattle Mariners.
What It Means:
Ona is being optioned to the Padres' alternative training site with Tommy Pham being reinstated from the 10-day injury list. Pham will fill the designated hitter role and bat sixth versus left-hander Yusei Kikuchi and the Mariners on Friday.
