Josh Bell joins Pirates' bench Friday for early game
Pittsburgh Pirates first baseman Josh Bell will not start in the first game of Friday's doubleheader versus right-hander Carlos Martinez and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Bell will yield first base to Jose Osuna and cleanup duties to Gregory Polanco. He will likely be back in the lineup for the later game on Friday.
