Pete Alonso back at it for Mets on Thursday
New York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso is back in the starting lineup for Thursday's series finale against right-hander Aaron Nola and the Philadelphia Phillies.
Alonso will handle the designated hitter role and bat sixth. J.D. Davis will replace Todd Frazier on third base.
