Detroit Tigers third baseman Isaac Paredes is in the starting lineup for Thursday's series opener against right-hander Shane Bieber and the Cleveland Indians.
Paredes will replace Sergio Alcantara on the hot corner and hit eighth. He's hit a two-bagger in each of his last two outings.
