Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Mickey Moniak will make his MLB debut on Thursday versus right-hander Seth Lugo and the New York Mets.
Moniak will start in left field and bat ninth in his first major league game. He slashed .252/.303/.439 with 11 homers, 28 doubles, 13 triples, 67 RBI, and 15 steals with Double-A Reading last season. Moniak will be joined by Bryce Harper and Adam Haseley in the outfield while Roman Quinn takes a seat. Andrew McCutchen will be the Phillies' designated hitter.
