Josh Rojas joining Diamondbacks' bench Thursday
Arizona Diamondbacks infielder/outfielder Josh Rojas is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Griffin Canning and the Los Angeles Angels.
What It Means:
Chirstian Walker will replace Rojas as the Diamondbacks' designated hitter while Pavin Smith will make a start on first base and bat eighth. Daulton Varsho will move all the way up to the leadoff spot in place of Rojas.
