Aaron Judge (calf) active Wednesday, back in action for Yankees
The New York Yankees activated outfielder Aaron Judge (calf) from the 10-day injured list.
What It Means:
Judge will man right field and hit second on Wednesday against right-hander Tanner Roark and the Toronto Blue Jays after missing three weeks due to lingering right calf issues. He has been limited to 71 plate appearances in 18 games this season but owns a .292/.343/.738 batting line with 9 homers and 20 RBI. Clint Frazier will shift to left field in place of Brett Gardner. Luke Voit will fall a couple spots and bat cleanup. The Yankees optioned infielder Thairo Estrada to their alternate training site in a corresponding roster move.
