Chicago White Sox designated hitter Edwin Encarnacion is in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against right-hander Jose Berrios and the Minnesota Twins.
Encarnacion will bat fifth following a day off. Jose Abreu will shift to first base while Yasmani Grandal will replace James McCann at catcher. Encarnacion, a career .261 hitter over his 16-year veteran, is batting a woeful .174 this season.
