Oakland Athletics infielder Vimael Machin is not in the lineup Sunday in the team's game against the Texas Rangers.
Machin is being replaced at third base by Tommy La Stella against Rangers starter Lance Lynn.
In 62 plate appearances this season, Machin has a .204 batting average and a .527 OPS.
