Detroit Tigers infielder Jonathan Schoop is not in the lineup Sunday in the team's game against the Chicago White Sox.
Schoop is being replaced at second base by Sergio Alcantara against White Sox starter Jonathan Stiever.
In 177 plate appearances this season, Schoop has a .278 batting average and a .799 OPS.
