Gregory Polanco grabbing Pirates' pine Friday
Pittsburgh Pirates right fielder Gregory Polanco is not in the starting lineup for Friday's series opener against left-hander Kris Bubic and the Kansas City Royals.
What It Means:
Cole Tucker will replace Polanco in right field and hit ninth. Erik Gonzalez will leadoff and Kevin Newman has moved up to the second spot in the order. Ke'Bryan Hayes will bat third. Adam Frazier fell from first to eighth.
