San Francisco Giants catcher Joey Bart is not in the starting lineup on Friday against right-hander Garrett Richards and the San Diego Padres.
Chadwick Tromp will replace Bart at catcher and bat ninth. Bart has gone 17-for-63 (.270) with 11 scores through his first 19 games in the majors.
