Luke Voit taking maintenance day as Yankees face Orioles
New York Yankees first baseman Luke Voit is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's series opener against left-hander Keegan Akin and the Baltimore Orioles.
Voit is getting the day off because of "normal wear and tear," per Yankees manager Aaron Boone. Mike Ford will replace Voit on first base and bat seventh.
numberFire's models expect Ford to score 7.5 FanDuel points on Thursday. His salary is $2,300. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Yankees have an implied total of 5.17 runs.
