Tigers' Daz Cameron making MLB debut Wednesday

The Detroit Tigers recalled outfielder Daz Cameron from their alternate training site.

What It Means:

Cameron could see regular playing time down the stretch after the Tigers optioned Christin Stewart to their alternate training site. He will play right field and bat seventh on Wednesday afternoon against right-hander Corbin Burnes and the Milwaukee Brewers in his MLB debut. Jorge Bonifacio will shift to left field in place of Stewart and hit sixth.

The 23-year-old former top-100 prospect slashed .214/.330/.377 with 13 home runs and 17 stolen bases in 120 games last season at Triple-A Toledo. Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, the Tigers have an implied total of 3.38 runs on Wednesday.
