Erik Kratz back to bench for Yankees Monday
The New York Yankees did not name Erik Kratz a starter for Monday's tilt against the Toronto Blue Jays.
What It Means:
Kratz will take a seat Monday while Kyle Higashioka starts behind the plate and bats eighth.
Kratz is making good contact with the ball this season, but hasn't homered yet. He's batting .296 over 28 plate appearances thus far.
