Orioles place Alex Cobb on injured list, Thomas Eshelman to start on Friday
Baltimore Orioles pitcher Thomas Eshelman will start in Friday's first game against the New York Yankees.
Eshelman will take the mound for the Orioles after Alex Cobb was placed on the injured list. According to manager Brandon Hyde, the Orioles are "following protocol" with Cobb's transaction and they "hope" he will come back soon.
Eshelman's current projection against the Yankees includes 2.8 strikeouts in 3.7 innings pitched for a total of 16.0 FanDuel points.
