Toronto Blue Jays infielder Jonathan Villar is out of Friday's starting lineup against the Boston Red Sox.
Villar will rest against the Red Sox after Cavan Biggio and Rowdy Tellez were labeled as Friday's Game One starting infielders.
In 128 at-bats this season, Villar is hitting .250 with two home runs and ten RBI.
