Josh Bell joining Pirates' bench Thursday afternoon
Pittsburgh Pirates first baseman Josh Bell is not starting in Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Alec Mills and the Chicago Cubs.
Bell appears to be getting a routine breather. He's batting just .207/.272/.322 batting line over 136 plate appearances this season. Colin Moran will start on first base again and bat third while Gregory Polanco will play designated hitter out of the cleanup spot. Bryan Reynolds will enter the lineup in left field and hit fifth.
numberFire's models expect Reynolds to score 8.6 FanDuel points on Thursday. He costs $2,600. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Pirates have an implied total of 4.34 runs.
