Tyler O'Neill in Cardinals' left field Wednesday
St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Tyler O'Neill is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's series finale against right-hander Tyler Mahle and the Cincinnati Reds.
O'Neill will make the start in left field and bat eighth. Tommy Edman will move to the other corner in place of Dexter Fowler, who was placed on the 10-day injured list while he takes a medication that potentially compromises his immune system. O'Neill is 12-for-69 (.174) in his third season.
O'Neill is averaging 7.1 FanDuel points per game this season. Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, the Cardinals have an implied total of 4.55 runs on Wednesday.
